SEEKINGBand to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Other Percussion, Violin, Steel guitar, Cello.
I am a Keyboard player who is also an Electronic music producer. I am looking to start a band that performs covers of classic Dance/House music songs.
I am looking for a Drummer preferably one with an Electronic kit but real drums would still be fine. Two funky guitarists, both rhythm and lead, a bass player and a female vocalist. Or anyone who thinks that they may add something else to the line up such as Saxophone, percussion etc.
I am looking to do something live and get some gigs at corporate events and all types of functions etc. I strongly feel that there is some mileage in this if the set up is right. I want to be able to perform these tracks in a pretty cool way and not just bash them out in a generic format.
The songs that I have begun to play around with at the moment are the following.
Moloko - Sing it back.
Stardust - Music sounds Better with you.
Spiller - if this ain't love.
Daft Punk - One more time.
Alison Limerick - Where Love Lives.
Kings of Tomorrow Finally.
So if you feel that this may appeal to your styles then please do contact me.
I also would like to include a few classic Disco records in there also to add to the set list, but for now I just want to concentrate on the above songs. At present I am only available to rehearse in the day and early evening up until 8pm due to working in the evenings on weeknights, so anything after that is not possible, so please bear that in mind.
