BADWEATHER FRIENDS NEED A DRUMMER
* 7-piece covers band

We’re looking for a permanent drummer to join our rhythm section.
* Our Sound
Bowie · Steely Dan · Beatles · Stones · Tears for Fears · Police · Level 42 · Bruno Mars · Bee Gees · Peter Gabriel. Big arrangements with keys, guitars and sax - we keep it tight, polished and get people up on the floor.
* About Us
• Experienced, semi-pro players (mostly 60–70 yrs old)
• 10–14 gigs a year, including 4 in the Dordogne
• Rehearse twice a month (more before gigs)
• Paid £400–£600 per gig - but it’s about fun, not the money
• Friendly, ego-free, supportive bunch
* About You
• Solid, tasteful, reliable player
• Able to drive the band
• 50 + preferred (mature musos welcome)
• Backing vocals a bonus
• Likes a bit of a laugh and doesn’t take life too seriously

Influences
Right across the board, but we mainly play classic pop rock and stuff people can dance to - everything from the Bee Gees through Robbie Williams to Bruno Mars and Harry Styles.
