ABOUT
Bacchus is a 5-piece playing a mixture of legendary cover versions and its own excellent, original songs with an instant appeal, chosen carefully to give the ideal blend for the particular audience. We particularly enjoy playing good pub gigs.
We play positive, uplifting and raunchy rock songs that are full of fun and energy. The sound has developed to capitalise on a well-balanced mix of three guitars. Each guitarist has his own characteristic style for both lead and rhythm playing. They enjoy working together with trade-off instrumentals and dual – and even triple – guitar. The other band-members are drummer and bass guitarist (and blues harp). All of the Band sing backing vocals at times.
For the Band’s original material, we prove that it is possible to create positive songs that are powerful, raunchy and uplifting.

Influences
For covers, typical sources include the Stones, Free, Doors, Santana, Beatles and Van Morrison – with some raunchily performed Chuck Berry numbers. We select our material to suit the venue and the event and put on a great show and our audiences, of all ages, are never anything other than delighted.
