ABOUT

We're musicians local in London Southeast. We perform on the gig circuit as duos and collaborate with one another as friends rather than getting married and breaking up in a band.

On full moon nights we break out into shoegaze, post-punk and noisecore as genre fluid musicians.

We work in a small cell of musicians playing flute, alto flute, panpipes, keyboards, harp, guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, cajon and vocals with a wide range of world instruments. We are soloist instrumentalists and prefer instrumentalist leanings: vocalists from time to time. At the moment we're concentrating on our own solo work; ensemble repertoire as well as experimentation and cross-collaboration in the avantgarde.

Influences

We play a wide repertoire spanning diverse genres - see our youtube videos (we don't stay in any category fixed for long). We really don't like any commercial or popular music with algorithmic formulaic structures. We do love quieter and more honest music - acoustic, singer-songwriter material, traditional, psych folk and American folk music, modestly amplified and played intimately. We love experimental cross-boundary music with electronics too!

When we perform music, we would rather sound like none of our influences and find our own voice as instrumentalist musicians.
