"Rip-en-Stein" is a new band that was formed in late 2009. It is planned to be a "Horror Metal" band, to best describe that...We sing/scream about Horror related things, from the good ol Horror movies ((From B-Movies to the Classic Black and whites to the Modern Gore-fests that come out now-a-days)) also write about Necrophilia, Zombies, Monsters. But also write alot of stuff that have a lot of meaning behind it like Religion + Politics and especially stuff to do with Real Horror stories ((Mass/serial killers)) and write about everyday things like Sex Girls and Alcohol.
With over 60 songs ((lyric wise)) written, Recording facilities are awaiting our word to go into the studio in Nottingham, Photoshoots are being sorted and also possibly a Video shoot can be arranged. A Future Uk tour is being planned up that is if we are ready ad lots lots more stuff being planned to make this band successful.
To best describe what kind of sound we'd like to have - Killswitch Engage/Dope/Volbeat Mixed styles of music, with Wednesday 13 style lyrics ((but worse)) but sung like killswitch engage ((both Scream and clean/melodic vocals used))
The kind of people we are looking for - Must be 100% yourself ((we encourage it)), Must put in 210% into everything that we do from - Practicing/Recording and Gigging and more, Must have an Amazing sense of Humour and be open minded to most things especially this band, Must be able to pay you way with Practices + Recording and anything Band related, Must be Talented and have the need to show it off on + off stage, Must be a good song writer and not be afraid to make suggestions, Have good stage presence ((the crazier the better)), Mustn't be afraid to wear some make-up and dress up for the occasion ((we're going for the Zombie look on stage)), Must have the need to do something different Musically, Most importantly you must have you own gear ((we'l help with Transport etc etc))
