My name is Rhys O’Malley, I have been playing drums since the age of 6. I have always loved and enjoyed music and had a real passion for it from a young age. I want to make great music with some great people and have a sick time.

Influences
My influences vary a lot. Some of my big influences at a younger age include; Billy Cobham, Dave Garibaldi, Omar Hakim and Chris Coleman. Also I am influenced greatly by slightly more alternative drummers such as Dan Searle of Architects, Dani Washington, Evan Ambrose and Miles Gill. These influences all have helped define me as a musician and my style.

EQUIPMENT
I have my own drum kit including hi-hats, ride & crash ride cymbal, splash and crash cymbal. The majority of my cymbals are Zildjian mainly from the K collection. I also have a full rack for my drums and a PA system that could be used if required.
