Band to Join.ABOUT
I am currently singing rock and blues with friends but want to be involved in a gigging band.
i have a strong loud versatile voice and have no hang ups about playing live. i can also add guitar if required and have just started dabbling in the harmonica...work in progress! And contemplating the mandolin next!
I live in Walsall and have transport.
I am 48 and not been in any particular band for about 15 years but have continued to make 'guest appearances' with a few of my friends and brothers band mainly singing but occasionally with my guitar also.
I have also occasionally done a few open mic nights and acoustic nights just for the fun off it along with belting the odd rock song out at a karaoke
I gigged all over the midlands with club bands in the late 70's and through the 80's and miss being out there. Now the kids have grown up and buggered off its time I got serious about my music again but this time playing what I like.

Influences
I am currently covering deep purple, hendrix,bb king, animals, python lee jackson,john lee hooker,free,chuck berry etc. but my heart lies squarely with blues and want to get back to playing as well as singing.
EQUIPMENT
I’ve got a few guitars ( old aria pro and les paul copy both of which sound great and a couple of acoustics and a bass I play around with.) back line at the moment is a line six combo with all the usual effects built in and a 1979
laney valve head from my past gigging days and i'm just building a 200w cab to match it.
