I've never been one to label myself as a 'lead' or 'rhythm' player. I just see the guitar as a tool to make music. Could be lead, could be rhythm, whatever fits the song. My heroes were always prog/metal instrumentalists. I'm into all sorts of music, but listening and playing are two different beasts.
Since I haven't played seriously in a while, I'm not even sure what I'd want to play. That's why I think it's a good idea of just messing around and experimenting.

Influences
Generally, anyone who can play well. Biggest influences of the past was John Petrucci from Dream Theater, now pretty much all from prog metal scene.

Currently have minimum for practising at home and play on the rehearsal. Getting equipment is not a problem if needed.
