Vocalist seeking pop, acoustic, alternative, funk, swing, or jazz band for gigging. My voice is adaptable and I am very adept at extemporising vocal lines and harmonies.
Despite loving some classic rock anthems, full-on rock is just not a genre I chose to listen to and I don’t think it suits my voice, which is quite clear-toned and not at all “gravelly”, so if this is your style I’m not going to be suitable for you and want to avoid wasting your time.
I used to sing in a large ladies barbershop chorus (this is a Capella work) so I’ve had some vocal coaching and plenty of practice at performing in front of an audience and really engaging with the lyrics and music. I’ve been shown the importance of considering how a performance will be received by the listener!
I may not be experienced at fronting a band, but I’m hugely enthusiastic, have had years of musical training and am ready to step into the spotlight, so why not give me a try? The track on here was recorded as an intro for a Fleetwood Mac tribute band and does not nearly represent my full range of tone or sound.

Influences

Fleetwood Mac, Deacon Blue, Jake Bugg, Alison Moyet, Sarah Vaughn, Julie London, Dua Lipa, classic pop, even Kylie Minogue. I adore music from the 50s through to present day and so there’s a lot of wonderful music out there to choose from.
Love swing and big band particularly but am not holding out for this kind of style as it’s very niche and rare!
