I am 24, love guitar and want to turn it into a profession. I am looking to join a band/duo/trio that are already/ready to gig and share my ambition of earning a living from music.
I have been playing for about 8 years now, owning a 1977 Guild Acoustic and a Gretsch 1962 Country Classic re-issue.
I have an appreciation for many styles of music and I am diverse in my playing. I have a solid grounding in the Blues, Country and Jazz. My speciality is perhaps my ability to play fingerstyle guitar.
I learn to play guitar using my ears rather than reading notes, therefore have a good musical ear and can learn songs quickly. I am competent and happy to play both lead and rhythm or a mixture of the two, as well as offering creative input. I have transport.
I would like to join a band that is not limited to one style, however I would be more than happy to play in a blues band as this is my favourite genre.
