Lyricist Looking For a Guitar/Piano Minded Musician :)
Looking to team up with a local musician in the Essex/East London area to form a songwriting partnership and who will be willing to help a Essex girl put music to her lyrics. Musician must be easygoing, have a sense of humour, should take the work seriously but not themselves too seriously and who is modest with a small ego. :)
I would describe my style of writing as a observation of British life and which is intoxicatingly melancholic, dangerously thoughtful, seductively funny, dramatic, bleak, realistic about romance and tempers angst with the lightest of touches.
Would be great at some point to find other muscians and form a band to showcase these songs or get other bands to perform them. But at the moment I am concentrating on finding a local musician to do songwriting with! :)
Will be more than happy to send people songs I have already written with other musicians.

Influences
My favourite music genres are Soul, Rock, Indie, Alternative and Pop. Without doubt my style of writing is influenced by British Indie artists from the 1980s, Britpop artists from the 1990s and American and British Singer/Songwriters artists from the 1970s. So with this in mind I am looking for a musician who likes and appreciates the influences I have mentioned above and who will write music in those styles.
