I'm a Guitarist, based in Coventry, and am looking for genuine fans of Deep Purple (Mark 2) who would enjoy playing some of their 1969-73 songs in a hobby band. Email shown below.
Specifically I'm looking for people who are able to sing the parts of Ian Gillan or play Keys like Jon Lord or play Bass Guitar like Roger Glover or play Drums like Ian Paice. I would like to play songs like Speed King, Bloodsucker, Child In Time, Flight Of The Rat, Hard Lovin' Man, Black Night, Fireball, No No No, Fools, Strange Kind Of Woman, Highway Star, Pictures Of Home, Never Before, Smoke On The Water, Lazy, Space Truckin', Woman From Tokyo, Super Trouper and Rat Bat Blue. If I can find enough people, we can start by enjoying a few rehearsals and then see how it progresses ....
