Describing yourself as a good singer/guitarist/whatever is always relative. I'm self-taught, play my own style and not interested (read that as cannot do) shredding...but I can play! Prefer playing second guitar to lead and don't mind doing some backing vocals. Absolutely hate having my enjoyable musical time wasted.
