Coming up... The Pig Pen festival 2008!
Saturday 6th of September.
There will be 10 hours of live music from local bands, a licensed bar until the early hours, free campng, food stalls, children's activities and craft stalls.
The 2008 line-up includes:
The White Negroes, Sugarstone, Shrug, The Reverse,
Be Quiet–Shout Loud, 3 Foot Ninja, Radio Dynamics,
Lithium Speed Dementia, Sex Generals, Band of Mojos.
The festival is a ticket-only event. There'll be no entry on the gate without a ticket. The camping and auditorium area opens at 11.00am and the first band kicks off at 1.00pm. Live music runs through 'til around 11.00pm. The bar runs from midday until well after midnight.
Tickets are now on sale priced at £15.00 + b.f. (£5.00 for parking - no charge for tents). Children under the age of 12 are admitted free. Children 12 years and over will require a ticket. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.

The Pig Pen Festival is a non-profit organization run by volunteers and each year has struggled with funding. Please help raise funds by sponsoring Dominic Lomax to complete a solo parachute jump on Sunday 17th August, at Peterlee Parachute Centre, Shotton.
