Experienced drummer looking for band.
I'm looking for a high quality band, either originals or an original take on doing covers. I want something that's going to challenge me. I'm open to a range of styles that will accommodate an expressive and dynamic drummer with solid groove and a songwriting sensibility. I want to play in a unique band that is unafraid of pushing boundaries and delivering a dynamic live performance that people will remember.
I'm not at all bothered about the age of the band but I want to work with musicians who take their craft and performance seriously.
About me:
* A professional and talented drummer with years of experience playing a range of styles.
* A varied skill set. Apart from drumming I also write, sing (whilst playing the drums) play guitar and bass, and I have experience of studio and live sound engineering.
* Own transport.
* I play a vintage 1960s Slingerland kit with 1960s Zildjian cymbals. It sounds great across a range of styles and records brilliantly.
* (I'm told) a sense of style and presentation.
* Rubs along well with people.
