Former guitarist/songwriter with Around Zero and current vocalist/guitarist/songwriter with Glasgow band COUNTERBALANCE, Phil Mona is a songwriter/musician of incredible depth with songs covering several genres. After amassing a large amount of songs not quite fitting with the style of music of his current band, Phil decided that they were too good not to see the light of day and set about recording them. With more texture and depth than previous songs and a more vulnerable vocal approach, the songs are of a much more personal nature. The as yet untitled E.P is set for release in late January and will be preceeded by some acoustic gigs in and around the Glasgow area so keep watching this space.
