ABOUT

Pete is a musician based in North West London. By the age of 9, Pete was performing with the Peterborough Youth Orchestra and had already started performing at wedding ceremonies professionally.

Now providing electric bass, double bass and backing vocals as his first call, the multi-instrumentalist has performed with world class musicians, including the likes of James Woodrow (Icebreaker, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Michael Nyman), Audrey Riley (Coldplay, Muse, John Cage, The Smiths) and Gizz Butt (The Prodigy).

Pete has a natural flair in his performances and is in much demand; you may have caught him at your local arena or festival supporting contemporary musical acts, such as the Loveable Rogues, Jermain Jackman, or Jaz Ellington. Pete also performed and recorded the world premiere of ‘Language is a virus from Outer Space’, the latest cantata by internationally acclaimed composer, Gavin Bryars, at the Queen Elizabeth Hall earlier this year with We Are Children (We Make Sound).

Today and tomorrow, alongside ceaseless musical and general exploration, Peter studies at London’s Institute of Contemporary Music Performance as a Bass Guitarist. In addition to this, Pete composes, works in various pit bands, is a resident double bass player at the Grosvenor House Hotel. He is also performing with pop artist, Will Mussett.
