I had been singing on and off since I was a teenager and took some lessons during that time, but without ever actually joining a band or playing live. Last year I finally reached out to other musicians and found two wonderful bandmates that I now rehearse with every two weeks, and I am now practising as often as possible.
I have quite a particular taste in music, which makes this somewhat challenging, as most people who like the same bands as me tend to have decades of experience.
Realistically I understand my options are limited, but I'd be happy to find a group that gets together to practice and play occasional gigs for fun, or a group that is just starting out and doesn't mind having someone with my level of experience on board.
