Looking for a competent drummer, must be of a pretty high standard for Studio Recording work.
We are 5 lads made up of Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar x 2, Bass and vocalist who write our own material. We are not a gigging band and probably won’t get into that as we can’t really be arsed with it all. Never say never though as who knows!
What we are though is 5 pretty good lads / competent musicians that jam together, writing our own music and generally having a laugh. Once we have a good enough song written, we go to Parr Street Studios (Now Kempston Street Studios) Liverpool and record it properly. Currently looking at getting a full album of tracks done. We’re not looking at getting a record deal or any other of that bollocks. (Don’t get me wrong, if some record exec barnpot wants to offer us money to write songs, give me a pen. I’ll sign up tomorrow). Realistically though, We just want to write and record some really nice songs.
We are currently using breakbeat samples, drum rolls etc to get the drum sound but would like to have real drums.
We do have an electronic drum kit in our rehearsal space if any drummer wants to give me a shout.
We are all pretty chilled and jam maybe once or twice a month, sometimes a little more if we are trying to get a song right. Just looking for someone that wants to have a chilled out jam and a laugh that can add value with drums
Band age currently is a still a pretty cool, 46, 49 and 50 years young. Ideally looking for someone the same age ish. Not that fussed though as long as you are sound.
We have a free to use rehearsal space that we can make loads of noise in based in Chester.
