Experienced guitarist (rhythm and lead, acoustic and electric), with backgrounds in psychedelic rock, jam band rock, funk (was lead guitarist for an 8-piece funk & soul cover band for 5 years), and instrumental jazz/funk/rock fusion (formed the four-piece band Swamp Monster Trivia, album on Spotify etc, wherein I also played keys, composed). Also on Spotify, check out my solo instrumental EP, under my name Paul Busch, the album is named "Plants for Hands". I played drums, bass, keys and guitar for it.
I have also gigged as a bassist, and would be open to doing so again.
Moved to Glasgow to study audio engineering, and am looking for musicians to jam with. Since moving here I have gotten really into folky fingerpicking acoustic guitar, and would be open to doing something with that, too.
I don't sing, and am probably overcompensating by doing so much else. Lately I've been really hyper-focused on instrumental music, and would love to form or join another instrumental fusion band.
Regular rehearsals are a must for me. It's just more fun that way, the band gets along better, and is more confident and consistent at gigs. And it's just a fun way to spend some time.
I'm also very much open to finding people to just jam with, without the intention of starting a band.
