Studied piano for 5 years before starting guitar in 2008, I learned to play guitar in an acoustic duo for 2 years before we added a drummer. Then we became a funk rock band for 3 years called Anonymously civil... we regularly switched instruments for different songs so I picked up some drums and bass along the way. We had to end after we all moved cities for one reason or another and now I'm looking to start another band to make some original jams.
Still play the guitar and piano to this day and dabble in singing. Would love a partner to harmonise with.

Breaking Bread
Breaking BreadAn old song from the days when Anonymously Civil was still running as a band in 2010 We wrote this happy vibe 3 years ago and it's remained a favorite ever since. This recording was a one off live rendition recorded early 2013 using a Dictaphone, A friend of ours was talking about his experience with Cannabis and his Auntie smoking it for the first time and this sound just happened. Paul Stobbs- Vocals/Guitar Adam Gethin-Jones- Bass

The Conspiracy Theorist
The Conspiracy TheoristA bit of fun from an acoustic night at the Lion & Snake in Lincoln. I wrote this song when doing research on conspiracy theories and more importantly, the conspiracy theorists themselves.

Back To Black (Cover Sample) - Fiona Purdy ft Paul Stobbs on Piano
Back To Black (Cover Sample) - Fiona Purdy ft Paul Stobbs on PianoThis snippet was taken from a practice session in wich me and Fiona Purdy were practicing the odd songhere and there, Fiona has often played this song to me on the guitar so I thought we would have a quick session mixing it with the piano. Far from finished, here is our first attempt as I try and learn the chords. A final cut will be up soon.

A Walk In The Rain
A Walk In The RainListen to the surrounding raindrops as I play an improvised jazz solo over the top. Experimenting with piano's sustain pedal I've created this relaxing sound scape. Use headphones or high quality speakers for best effect.
