I'm a born-again bass player, having given up for a fair while (work, family, the usual impediments), but recently rediscovered my love of playing with other people. I spent about three years with The High White Clouds - https://www./thehighwhiteclouds?fref=ts - before moving on a year or so back. I've got plenty of live and studio experience in my previous and can sing a bit (backing vocals rather than lead). My musical likes are as varied as you could want - from Black Uhuru to Green Day and Lenny Kravitz to Lenny Cohen. Bass players I particularly admire tend to be those who enhance the songs, rather than distract from them with their virtuosity - people such as Lee Sklar, Rick Danko and (unfashionably) Paul McCartney. I'm looking for a project based within 15/20 miles of Watford/Rickmansworth.
