Hi there. I’m using this as a way to meet other musicians in Leeds as I want to put a band together. The stuff you hear is me on vocals but I’m looking for someone with a really good voice!
It would also be using much simpler arrangements, ie. 4 piece ; drummer, bass player, me on electric guitar and the good singer – preferably female, although a bloke with a really interesting voice could be good. If you’re female by the way and like the songs but find them too high / too low, don’t worry – I’d change the keys to suit your voice.
I’ve been writing songs and playing in bands for years. It was my bread and butter for 10 years when I lived in France, so I have a lot of experience. I’ve lived back in the UK (Chapel Allerton, Leeds) for 2 years and was fortunate enough to start a band with a few mates this year (www.thetarmackers.co.uk). This was a great experience, albeit a tad short lived – the singer is now pregnant with twins so we’ve called it a day!
