I'm a retired Belgian Navel Architect. I learned playing flute as a kid and took on playing the saxophone when starting university, now more than 40 years ago.
I'm a recreational player. I'm mainly playing alto and tenor, but love to play on the soprano and baritone as well.
I started a band with some colleagues in London in 2008. But given our working schedules requiring frequent travelling we never could commit to proper gigs. I lived in Shanghai from 2015 to 2023 and haven't played with a band in that period (apart from my loyal laptop). Moved back to the UK (Newcastle area) in 2023 and been playing with some experienced local musicians.

Influences
I like to play different styles, but definitly will put Latin jazz (Jobim, Joao Gilberto, Stan Getz) and jazz standards on top of my list.
