PaganMan are a Manchester based Rock band playing original songs loudly.
We are currently without a singer and are in the process of looking for and auditioning new front person. We are looking for someone who is capable of writing, helping us write and co-writing new material that fits with the sound of our already existing material (we're not looking for carbon copies but somewhere vaguely in the same ballpark is pretty essential). From there we are aiming to get into a studio and then get out into the big wide world to gig. Our perspective new member would be committed, enthusiastic and capable of producing good songs and/or lyrics and be able to hold their own whilst singing. We appreciate however that not everyone is blessed with the gift of composition and if that was the case, we are quite capable of writing all the vocals if required (We are also quite happy to leave all business of lyrics and singing to the vocalist if required)
We rehearse 10 minutes from the city centre at the blueprint on Sunday Mornings. We also try and get together during the week in Chorlton to work on ideas at home/ go for a drink etc
The band has been together now for about a year and we have an entire sets worth of material waiting to take out live when we complete the line of the band (obviously after plenty of rehearsals with the new member). Ideally you'd live somewhere near us in South Manchester. We've tried playing with people further a field but have found that it doesn't really work for us and usually leads to complications.We also feel that the further away from us that you live, the harder it is to be friends which is very important in order for the band to work.
