Hi I'm Olly, looking to join a band in the Sheffield / Chesterfield area - something HEAVY and GROOVE-BASED, but not megafast.

I've drummed in mostly rock / indie / blues covers bands for 20+ years and played 150+ gigs (pubs, parties, small festivals).

I've left one band for a heavier more groove-based direction. And I want to gig again. I can certainly make one band rehearsal a week, plus gigs.

I'll learn the songs, do the practice, turn up, and play my best. And I'm not an ego (so yours is safe!)

Primary & early influences: Sabbath, RATM, Led Zep, Chili Peppers, Purple, Free, etc. But I love all sorts with groove & rhythm, from Primus to NIN to Sleep Token to classic funk to Meshuggah

Hardware... all good quality: Yamaha, Premier, Roland drumkits; various snares; Paiste cymbals; double bass pedal; decent drum mics. Happy to tailor gear to meet band's needs.

Software... I'm learning Reaper (do you ever stop?!), have Addictive Drums 2, Affinity photo/design suite, plus a little video editing experience.
