Hi. We are Off The Rails, based around the Ringwood, Bournemouth, New Forest and Poole area. We are currently a three piece band Guitar, Bass, Drums of varied ages up to 19. All of us have at least 7 years musical experience. We have been playing together for nearly three years and have a tight live sound. We mostly play classic rock/ indie/ progressive covers, as that is what gets us gigs. After a two year lay-off due to Covid, we are now gigging again. We have a male vocal set, a female vocal set and an instrumental set, of about 40 songs. We are so grateful to the guys that have sung with us, the guest singers and volunteer vocalists who have helped us along the way, but we really need our own permanent Singer / Front person who can bring strong and well projected vocals. We could also use a good Keyboard player. If you can both play and sing even better! We need the flexibility to broaden our set and give more depth to the sound. Ideally you would be accomplished, but so long as you can sing well with good projection or play well, are strongly committed (and the commitment is very important!) to grow with us and our music, and are outgoing, friendly, honest and enjoy your music, we'd like to hear from you. This is not a pro band...yet. For the moment, we are doin’ this for the fun and expenses, but we do rehearse regularly and have gigs lined up at Pubs and Festivals this year. Next gigs are in July. Your age, gender, and race are irrelevant to us, your willingness to work hard to succeed is essential.

If you're into genres we play most anything you can put the word rock after. So Classic rock, hard rock, progressive rock, alternative rock, indie rock, funk rock, punk rock, seaside rock :-) , & grunge.
Most anything that will entertain an audience and make 'em smile and hopefully dance from the 70s 80s 90s and 00s and whatever this decade is called!
