Britpop and 90s covers band, but not that kind of Britpop. We're the fun, groovy, dancy side of the 90s: Blur and Pulp rather than mournful guitar-as-religion stuff. Even a bit of Oasis when it's danceable, plus one-hit-wonder chaos (Jump Around, Lump, Walking on the Sun) and maybe a Spice Girls moment if it's right.
The plan is a proper night out, like that club you went to in the 90s with the sticky floors, everyone dancing, knowing every word, leaving sweaty and wanting more. Not a tribute act, not karaoke-backing-track perfect, a band playing these songs like they mean it. Bassist and singer in place, looking for guitarist, drummer and keys. Backing vocals a big plus.
Maybe gig once per month ish, practice weekly at first to get up to speed but can be flexible.

Full pro setup: PA, digital desk, lighting, cabling and wireless systems all sorted, one of us is a sound engineer and massive nerd, so live sound is properly thought out.
The dream would be an ampless setup running everything through the PA with in-ear monitoring, for quick, consistent setup at any venue. But happy to discuss.
