Hi! I’m 22, a proud Leamingtonian and AuDHD. I first picked up the guitar when I was 8 and it’s been an on again- off again relationship ever since. The passion never died, but we were kinda open and both seeing other people (I am a typical ADHD lady with 3000 hobbies).
I have no ambitions of being a folk or rock legend, I really just love music and want to play / make it with other people. It’s magical hearing different parts played by different people coming together ? I am willing to commit to regular meetings, jam sessions, maybe a few local gigs and building a back catalogue of creative projects together.

Influences
The Beatles (obviously) + Wings and McCartney’s solo stuff. Same goes for George Harrison’s solo music (and Monty Python come to think of it). And NOBODY appreciates the songs Ringo wrote enough!!! Poor Ringo!! Big Up the Octopus’ Garden!!
Ooh and the ‘Love’ Cirque du Soleil album!! If you haven’t listened to it, listen to it in cans I PROMISE you will not be disappointed.
The Foo Fighters
The Smiths (again, obviously and specifically the things and collaborations Johnny Marr has done in recent years)
Minecraft. I’m serious - I like cozy electronic music, anything with a drone really- Indian classical, Celtic, folk music. Deep, ethereal droning.
The ‘Once More with Feeling’ episode of Buffy (I’m not joking)
The Vitamin String Quartet project- you’ve definitely heard their work
Weezer
Green Day
My Chemical Romance (I was an emo kid)
Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons
Girl in Red (I am a huge gay)
Clairo (I am a huge gay)
Wheatus
Hall and Oates
José Gonzales
Wet Leg
Beach Bunny
Phoebe Bridgers (Listen to her cover of ‘Friday I’m in Love’ it is BEAUTIFUL)
Also the Cure lol (emo)
All of the Hit Factory - it’s good music
All of the gay 80’s music
Adrianne Lenker, Alex G etc - I’m a big fan of the vibe. It makes me feel sad and nostalgic and safe like I’m 5 again.
Bananarama (more gay 80s music)
Barbara Streisand (I am now going through my Spotify artists alphabetically and will stop here. In short, I like music in vast quantities and with selective but diverse taste and clear reasoning. I will ALWAYS listen to your recommendations. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk)

Acoustic / Electric Octave Mandolin (it makes reeeeeally sexy sounds but so far I can only play ‘Calico Skies’)

Ukulele, not a great one but it’s fun for playing
A random assortment of various other small instruments: a 3-string blues box guitar, a Lyre/ Celtic Harp, an Ocarina
2 little baby amps and plenty of accompanying jacks, cables and adapters, headphone splitters etc
