We're Indigo Star and we're looking for a new drummer. We're an established 4-piece (vocal, guitar/vocal, bass & drums) covers band that's been playing in the Cheshunt/Hertford/Ware/Buntingford area for over 10 years. We play an eclectic mix of stuff, anything from The Beatles to Royal Blood, Amy Winehouse to the Jam/Paul Weller & Oasis, with a bit of Motown added to the mix.
We have a couple of dates booked this year already, and will be looking to book more once our new drummer is in place.
We're always aiming to put new songs in the set and generally gig once, maybe twice, a month, and rehearse twice a month. We have a fledging offshoot with some original songs that we hope to take further.
We play and gig for because we enjoy it, so we definitely take it seriously enough to be able to put on a professional show. We're also mates having a laugh and we work to a 'no egos' principle.
