ABOUT

Ive been a musician since I was eleven which is 31 years and have played in loads of bands throughout my career. The high point was getting to play in the house band for Don Felder of the Eagles alongside John Miles and Rick Wakeman.

I run an established 4 piece function band that averages 2 gigs per week.
I run it as a business which is why we have been so successful in a short space of time.
We play weddings, corporate gigs, holiday camps as well as some pubs and bars - but wherever we play people are blown away.

We have a very wide and varied repertoire that ranges from classic rock by bands such as Journey, Toto, AC/DC, Lynrd Skynrd, Guns N Roses to modern rock and pop by bands like The Killers, Kings of Leon, The Hooziers. We also play some country and some funk and put on a great show wherever we play.

Our guitarist is joining a touring band and we need a replacement who meets the following criteria:

Must be an excellent guitarist with great lead guitar skills

MUST HAVE
Be an excellent guitarist with great lead guitar skills
Be able to "perform" and not just play
Have good equipment with the ability to accurately recreate the sounds used by the original artists
Be willing to dress appropriately for certain gigs (most of the time we wear jeans and trainers)
Have a professional attitude and willing to pitch in and adapt to unforseen circumstances
Be willing to help with setting up the PA and other equipment

WOULD LIKE
Ability to sing harmonies well
Own Transport
Be able to committ to a large number of gigs

Pay
I pay anywhere between £50 for a pub gig to £100 for a wedding or holiday park booking.
As the bands popularity grows and demand increases wages will increase. Our current guitarist earns around £150 per week, sometimes more and sometimes less.

Hours
For pub gigs we generally have to arrive around 8pm to set up. Perform until 11 or 12 depending on the venue.
Wedding timings vary. The earliest we have arrived is 2pm. The norm is around 5 or 6 pm.
When we play holiday camps we are often on the road from 2pm in the afternoon and arrive home around 3am the following morning.
