Are a few of the many ways the music of Nightbird has been described. Words that make us feel as though we must be doing something right, and that we're creating the atmosphere we wanted.
Greetings, we are Nightbird.
When we started out writing what would become essentially a 100 minute progressive rock album without any guitars in 2010, we didn't really stop to think that we would have to somehow put what we were creating into some kind of genre. But, back then we didn't even know exactly what it was we were trying to create, full stop.
It didn't take long for that to change and we find now that we happily identify with the Alternative/Progressive/Gothic Rock genres. But, in a way that we feel isn't taking too much of one and not enough of the other.
The reason we're writing this bio is because it has the specific purpose of being read by someone such as yourself, in the hope that you'll be intrigued enough to want to be a part of what we do.
We started writing and recording Welcome To Skeleton Coast about three years ago to be our debut album. A lot of effort, hard work, love, and probably a bit of our souls have gone into making it.
We're looking for like-minded people, with the same high ambition and desire to get out there and make our mark. If this sounds like you, then you need to get in touch immediately.
