I'm a young enthusiastic musician that's hoping to join a band in the Bristol area that plays melodic pop/rock along the lines of Crowded House, the Beatles and Del Amitri. I play quite a variety of instruments, mainly acoustic and electric guitars but also a bit of keyboard, bass guitar and even some ukulele if you want! I also have a decent voice, best suited to a Beatle-esqe range. Although I haven't written much I have put together a few pieces as I've been home recording for the past year or so - I'm hoping to get some more practical experience in a band that's looking to record original material, perform live... and who knows? In all I'd say I was a competant musician with a good ear and a good idea of what I think makes a good song, I'm also commited and eager to work to make a band a success. Influences
Crowded House (and all related musicians/groups), The Beatles, Del Amitri, Coldplay, The Smiths, Santana... also have soft spots for The Eagles, Peter Gabriel etc.
