I'm into jazz, soul, funk, hip-hop, beat/electronic music....anything that I can improvise with! Not a trad-jazz player as such but enjoying playing standards of a particular flavour (perhaps more on the modal, 'world', fusion end of the spectrum). I have a lot of experience playing in function bands, have done a few jazz trio/quartet gigs and have gone to jam nights in the past. I studied composition at Trinity College of Music so have a composer's mind and curiosity.
I play with a lot of energy and passion (when the music is right) and am looking to join a band with people with similar musical sensibilities.
