I have been playing guitar since 1990 when I found my dads acoustic guitar and decided I'd like to learn. My dad encouraged me to find out how to tune the guitar and to learn at least one song before taking guitar lessons. I chose the classic 'Stairway To Heaven' and went back to my dad 6 months later when a guitar lesson was arranged.
?Sadly this did not go very well so I decided to teach myself. I locked myself away for a long time, learning classic riffs and songs. I have played with many bands as lead guitarist, including a band with my brother in 2006/7.
?In 2008 I moved to Greece where I formed a rock/punk band and returned to England in 2011. I’ve ran many Open Mic sessions while living in Reading, Berkshire but decided to move to Devon in early 2016.
I’m currently learning new material to do a solo project but also available to join, form and create new projects with passionate serious fellow musicians.
