Mature, (30+ years old preferably, but it's not that important tbh. Any age is fine to apply) Dummer, second guitarist and bassist wanted to form a alt rock/metal/punk band in 2020. I have a whole bunch of songs written already from previous bands, and since I wrote them, they're mind to do with as I wish. Obviously, I would be looking to write new material as well, so ideally you will be proficient at improvisation and creative yourself. Your influences might be anything. The more eclectic our taste, the more interesting the sound. My songs are very melodic with catchy hooks, but I would like to incorporate some metal-core riffs as well. I can kind of sing, but I haven't in years so I may need to retrain my vocal chords in the meantime. If the band were to decide that I was not good enough, then we would look for a singer too. I'm not and ego driven guy, so I would want what was best for the band. I have access to a free/cheap studio for demos, and rehearsal space. I have played in bands since I was 15 years old, with varying degrees of success. I know how to be in a band but I'm not asking for experience necessarily, just drive and commitment. I have a connection to a few venues too for when we are ready. Live performance is where its at, so stage presence would be awesome too.

EQUIPMENT
I'm saving up for an Aria pro 2 electric and 250 watt Marshall amp, which I will pich up before Christmas, hence starting the band in the new year. I will also be buying a distortion pedal of some kind. Currently have acoustic guitar.
