ABOUT

Frustrated U.S. hard rock/metal guitarist/songwriter reaching out to UK in search of like-minded vocalist to collaborate with on original hard rock/metal songs.

Bandmix has no provision for users on separate international sites to contact each other directly, so I had to create this UK account (sorry). I'm hoping to at least begin a dialogue with any interested musician(s) to determine what, if any level, of mutual musical interest and compatibility might exist. It would certainly be more progress than I've made in the U.S. in the last several years.

Anyway, here is a copy of my US bandmix listing:

Guitarist/songwriter working on originals. Seeking similarly influenced musicians, particularly a vocalist, to bring my songs to life.

Mid/upper-mid range singing voice is desirable, as is a strong command of melody, harmony, pitch, mood, and vibrato.

Your style and sound are reminiscent of singers like Glenn Hughes, Tony Martin, Steve Grimmett, Guy Speranza, Rhett Forrester, Rob Halford, Mike Howe, Zak Stevens, Robin McAuley, Marc Storace, Paul DiAnno and Paul Shortino, to name a few. (If you're too young to remember these names, please google them and listen to samples from their heyday to get an idea of what I'm after). Power, passion and precision with a little soul and grit.

Former 40-something pros and semi-pros who still have both a good voice and good health are definitely welcome.

If you get some nonsense about having to become a "Premium Member" to contact me, e-mail me at "gb_trader" at . I tried to put the e-mail address, but this site apparently has some program that detects and cancels it out. Hopefully, you can figure out how to e-mail me outside of this "extortion" site.
