Hi. Ok let’s see if I can complete this a few words as possible.
I have been in quite a few bands some were good and some I’d rather forget.
Over the years I have been fortunate to play with some great musicians and would say I have developed as a drummer through this experience. I genuinely play for the song
I do not over play but prefer to sit in the pocket with the bass once locked into a groove then accents and fills become natural. A song or melody are important and riff makes the track with a little light and shade thrown in.
I can play loud and play louder I am not a light hitter and I play from the heart with energy. Having said that I can also play light and add the volume in the build of track. I have recorded a few times and now how to lay to click I rarely go out of time
And will remain quiet while phrases are sorted by guitarist. I like to feel that I compose and willing to try anything to sort the composition of a track.
Not really a cover drummer but have done a few AC/DC,Queen, The Cars, Queens of the Stone Age Phycadelic Furs.
