Originals and/or Covers

My main instrument is guitar, but I can also offer keyboards, backing vocals and some lead vocals within my range and style. I write and record my own material, doing guitar, bass, vocals, and programmed drums. I've played in several covers bands as guitar/keys/backing vocals - classic rock, pop, indie rock, various genres from 60's onwards, but prefer music from the later and recent decades. I'm currently fronting a Chris Rea tribute (rea-loaded (dot com)), but always open to considering other projects. I'm interested in working with other musicians either writing/recording original material and/or putting a band together for gigs. Open to either originals or covers projects.

No limitations on mobility/location depending on the project, and happy to work collaborating online with musicians anywhere.

Influences

Alt-Rock, Classic Rock, Blues, Hard Rock, Post Punk, New Wave, Indie Rock, Alternative, Grunge, etc, etc - a tendency towards guitar based genres, but can easily be persuaded by anything that just sounds good, which doesn't have to be any of the above. I might draw the line at doing Coldplay covers, or originals that are trying to sound like them. I usually like anything once I get at it and discover the detail, even if I didn't think I would initially.

For covers projects I'm open to any pop/rock 60's onwards, but preferably later - 90's +.
