From the very beginning, each and every one of us comes into the World 'Naked', with the opportunity to paint their story. To dress their future the way they feel and to be unique in a multitude of colours, dreams and pure creativity waiting to be expressed. We see a Canvas as a piece of fabric (or material, or frame) ready to be painted. A not-yet existent tableau, portrait, scribble, waiting to be brought to life by the audience’s will to live, to create, to pass onto others, and future generations, emotions and a sense of identity in time. We want to represent and showcase through our art and music, the act of decorating and creating stories, ready to be interpreted by each of our fans though their own palette of experiences and reflected on their own “canvas” which is their life story.
A Naked Canvas is instantly recognisable as an opportunity to create, and adapts perfectly to the passion being put forward, not only in a band context, but in any art. We came up with the name when we realised that our core dream is to paint stories with our music, stories that will inspire the World towards introspection and at the same time openness. The band’s idea is based upon the idea of uncovering, undressing and understanding pure emotions and presenting them in our art... Join in - we have just started our first chapter!
