Hey all,
I'm looking to start up a new band that has a unique sound and makes good lyrics n strong melodies, hooks n riffs.
Obviously everyone has their own influences n tastes but preferably I'd like to start a band that has it's own signature sound. Some of my favourite bands and artists include The Killers, Oasis, Lana Del Ray, Hozier, Years and Years, James, Mumford and Sons, Lorde, Fleetwood Mac, Daft Punk, Bowie, The Goo Goo Dolls and loads of others.
Some stuff about me - I sing and play guitar - acoustic (I'd like to take lead vocals and rhythm in a band). I'm 23, currently at uni but finish in July and working.
I'm easy to get on with and would appreciate it if timewasters don't get in touch, I'll try n get back in touch with everyone that is interested. Apologies if I sound like abit of a berk but please don't get in touch if you're dead-set on one genre such as metal or indie, I like to think bands work best when everyone is open-minded. Please no older than around 35 please too - not to be harsh just I think bands play best when they have some common ground and age is a big factor.
Last but not least, please be dedicated n committed. I'd like to start jamming once or twice a week n eventually start gigging and building and expanding our fanbase over time and move onto bigger and better audiences.
