I'm currently looking for someone to write and record guitar and bass for a studio project i'm looking at starting with my partner. I will be writing and recording drums, while she will be covering vocals (clean). We also plan to have friends known through my current (touring) band to guest distorted vocals. We hope to find someone who just wants to create songs and have them finished. Including recorded as the time suits. Possibly to release. The ability to record demo's to specific tempo's is a must. Distance isn't an issue as it can all be done online. Anyone interested should send an email with some previous work to [email protected].
GENRE- We are looking to write epic (i hope you catch this meaning correctly) metal, with big chorus' and a structure suited to an easy listen. Tunings aren't specific and we can work with most. Open to anything, but clever and mature music is important. Keep it diverse. It would be nice to be left some room to mess around with the drums too, as there isn't much space for that in my band, i'd like to keep it different. Plenty of space for big singing parts. To write good SONGS. No overplaying :)

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our lead axeman Patrick O'Connor is to leave the band. He will be heading off to university in September and won't be able to give the band the time and commitment that's needed as we try to progress to the next level. He will be sorely missed, especially on stage where his charisma and stage presence really shone through. We wish him every success in all his future endeavours.
Obviously there is now a vacancy for a lead guitarist.
The following criteria must be met:
Must be technically solid and capable of good quality lead work.
Must have good song writing ability.
Must have good stage presence.
Must have good quality gear.
Must have own transport.
Must be commited to weekly practices and gigs, as well as promotional work.
Must be financially stable.
We are taking a new, heavier musical direction and will no longer be playing our current set after the few gigs we have already commited to. This is an opportunity to really stamp your authority on an entirely new set of songs and help take Our Divide forward into the second half of 2010 and beyond.
