I grew up in Jackson MS. My mother and father both preached the gospel at a Baptist church. I was one of 3 lead singers in the choir. I joined the U.S. Army at 17 years of age and travelled to Europe (Germany) for my first duty station. I started to write music as a way to stay connected to where I came from. Not wanting to be confined to one genre, I explored others and became entranced in what could only be explained as true expression. I have sang at weddings, funerals and parties. I have rapped at festivals and parties. I have been a part of 3 Hip-Hop compilation albums. 2 of which are available on iTunes and Spotify. As stated, I write my own music and lyrical content. I play keyboard, mostly my own creations but am not adverse to learning music from others. I'm a people person and I need music like trees need sunlight... Lol
