I've joined this site to find 1/2 people, (female vocalist/musician, preferably) to jam with who is comfortable, adaptable and competent within their ability.
I'm not a professional or virtuoso but I do appreciate a nice tune and melody.
Ideally in time, it'd be great to get on the gigging circuit but i'm just looking to get together, mix it up and jam first.
I'm open to doing covers but would prefer not to, I like the idea of making something outta nothing....

Influences
My taste in music varies from Chopin to Slipknot with everything in-between apart from commercial pop (for obvious reasons...)
I'm very fond of artists like Crosby, Stills and Nash, The Staves, Joni Mitchell, Andrew Bird, Janis Joplin, C.W Stoneking, Norah Jones, Billie Holiday, First Aid Kit, Led Zepplin, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Ry Cooder.... There really is so many!
My taste to my influence varies to the moment, Its the creative part I love most..

EQUIPMENT
I play steel string acoustic and a classical guitar at the moment and do vocals (minimally). I do intend on expanding on the equipment front slightly and by the end of the year have my own recording equipment. I'm more focused on getting the right people and chemistry first, slowly, slowly....
