SEEKINGBand to Join.
Returning to playing drums and percussion after a long lay off and looking for collaborations with cool, like-minded people who don't take themselves too seriously but DO take making good music seriously.
I now have more time on my hands to get myself in a position where I can make a valuable contribution to interesting projects, from casual jam-type sessions to full-on, established bands and duos.
To help me on my way back I've decided to augment my lovely old Pearl 6-piece kit with an Alesis Strike Pro electronic drum kit which quite frankly is awesome and gives me much flexibility in terms of sounds and volume (people often say to me after hearing me play "you're quite loud, aren't you?") so it's perfect for those smaller venues and rehearsal spaces...
I'm proficient in music production techniques and enjoy producing music for my own pleasure- skills that may come in handy for creative types who may need someone to take care of the techie side of things.
Complimenting all this I also enjoy shooting and editing video for fun only but it may come in handy...
Also, I do miss the camaraderie and banter that comes with working with other people and ideally would like to be able to enjoy the social aspect that can come from being in a band, so gimme a shout if you think I can bring something to your project.

Way too many to list but I'm versatile and will give, and have given, almost anything a shot...with the possible exceptions of modern jazz and metal- sorry guys ;-)
(Love swing, blues and old fashioned Rn'B though).
Just sayin' I do rate John Bonham as simply the BEST drummer there'll ever be- just wish I could play like him...

Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac + Me
Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac + Me Year: 2019 Genre: Blues
This is me playing along to Fleetwood Mac's 'Go your own way' from the Rumours album. It was recorded as a test for my new Alesis strike Pro e-drum kit. I used a drumless backing track and recorded the MIDI output of the kit into Cubase then mixed it with the audio backing track with no editing, so what you hear is what I played...
