ABOUT

Ok. Was in a band for 8 yrs very creative 97% of our set originals. Were on the verge of good things .....but Band imploded and i've been working sh*t jobs ever since with a nagging angst that i'm not doing what i should be. I've loved music from a young age and i don't think i'm gonna find anything else that comes close. I'm older fatter balder but in true Rock n roll spirit who gives a f lol

Wanting similar people who have been in bands that had something but for whatever reason didnt take off. still have that sense of frustration because you were good Let's give it one more fkn try.....

Ambition is fu*king critical is not really the name of band but an ethos and the running theme i have in my head. Nicked from Twin town as nicked from Dylan Thomas lol.

Look at my influences and get in touch. I always think its interesting mixing musicians from different styles to create something new and interesting. Maybe start with a covers outfit. But not the run of the mill numbers. gets so boring hearing bands playing the same phonics, Mustang Sally's, killers etc. Have nothing against those bands or music but So much good music out there. Don't need to hear everyone play the same songs.
Look up numan & NiN Doing Cars . want our covers band to sound like that. Not only but what a sound!

I love music with a passion. My main influences are David Bowie, Guns N'Roses, The Doors, U2, Nine inch nails, Hendrix, The stones, the beatles. Metallica, Morrissey, Marvin Gaye, Plan B, Tricky, Faith no more, QOTSA, motown, Suede, Mazzy star, Blur, White zombie.. etc etc anything thats got soul and integrity

Passionate about music, open to ideas and pulling out the best of each others talents. I really want to achieve a really good strong sound together. So I'm only putting the basics here but if your multi talented and can play a few instruments and want the freedom to play whatever suits a sing then great. Experimentation keeps things exciting. I've always shared rhythm and solo duties. Whatever works for the song
