Hi, I'm Gabor.
After many years behind the drums, and after a long break while work took priority, I'm finally able to spend more time making music again.
Over the years I've played everything from folk music and musical theatre to rock, blues, R&B and light jazz. These days I simply choose to play the music I truly enjoy.
I'm looking for good people to make good music with. To me, enjoying the company is just as important as enjoying the music.
My musical home is classic rock, blues, blues rock and soulful music with groove, dynamics and space. If there's a Hammond organ somewhere in the mix, you've already got my attention.
I've always learned and worked by ear rather than from written charts. Besides playing drums, I enjoy taking songs apart and putting them back together again. I adapt classic Hungarian and former Yugoslav rock songs into natural, singable English.
I also play cajon.
