Mireilla was first raised in east London but, at the age of 12, moved to south west London where she attended Pimlico School. This is the place where she realised the true potential of her ability as people took notice of her sultry voice. It also had excellent resources in it's music department which gave Mireilla the opportunity to learn how to play the piano and begin the development of her vocals skills.
This was only the start to a life-long journey into the love of music as she has since gone on to join a hip-hop fusion band called 'True Ingredients'. Having toured with the band all over the UK and a few countries in Europe; also performing at a number of prestigious festivals, Mireilla is now focusing hard on her solo career as her somewhat unique voice could certainly take her places. Having started work with SilverHammer Productions Mireilla is determined to show the world what she can do!
Her musical influences cross over a plethora of genres and eras (Rock, R'n'B, Hip-Hop & Swing) but this varied taste in music does some what shed light on her very rounded, yet fiery, personality. The soul in her voice and the message within her lyrics is set to reach out to the broken hearts of lost souls and speak up for the voices of the unheard.
