M.I.N.D. is a progressive metal band with influences from a wide range of styles. We're looking for a drummer who's creative and has a good grasp of advanced instrumental techniques and rhythm concepts. We're very committed to our music and are looking for like-minded people. All we ask for is that you're committed to your own practice and development as a musician and that you meet us roughly once a week for rehearsals. If we're all dedicated musicians and "do our homework" the rehearsals are just for song writing and getting tight as a band. Unfortunately our current drummer couldn't keep up with the band's development and the new material we're writing (a bit more fusion and experimental)...

We were voted Best New & Unsigned Band by Total Rock Radio. We were finalists of the Emergenza Festival contest last year and headlined the HMV Forum. Our biggest gig was Ermal Metal Festival in Portugal, sharing a stage with Sepultura, Blind Guardian, Textures and Angra to name a few... We have lots of gig opportunities in the U.K. and some in Europe, we get contacted by promoters on a monthly basis.
