Established Brighton based band seek serious vocalist/lyricist/frontman.
We play a mix of progressive/alternative rock and metal influenced by such bands as Pink Floyd, Mars Volta, Neurosis, Meshuggah, Tool, Black Sabbath, Deftones, Coheed & Cambria, Thin Lizzy, Radiohead, Converge, Cynic etc etc
We are pretty open minded and all enjoy playing and listening to music of various styles so we want a singer who can bring the sound together and help it to all make sense. Once we have this we plan to write and record our debut album.
We need somebody who is passionate about singing, writing vocal parts and lyrics. Screaming not essential but would be an added bonus. You will probably need to be able to belt it out in one way or another as we are a pretty loud band most of the time. You don't necessarily have to be the best technical singer, but ability to write interesting parts and perform them convincingly is key. A natural lyricist would be preferred as well as none of us are.
You will also need to be able to rehearse often (we do twice a week in central Brighton) and be able to commit your time and some money to tours/rehearsals/merchandise/recordings. We do as much as we can on as low a budget as possible as we remain unsigned for now.
